Hailing from just outside Shreveport, Louisiana, Jordan was immersed in music before he could even walk—his mother swears the sound of a saxophone kept him calm in the womb. With a bassist and bandleader for a father, rhythm was in his blood. At just six years old, he begged for a saxophone of his own, and from the moment he unwrapped it on his birthday, his path was set.
By seven, he was already stealing the spotlight—not just for his playing, but for the animated expressions he made while performing. By middle school, he was a regular soloist in the jazz band and had formed his first trio. By eighth grade, his school’s jazz ensemble was touring neighboring schools, deepening his love for performing and the culture of live music.
High school brought new milestones: earning a spot in the Louisiana All-State Band and leading a jazz combo that played gigs around town. Before long, he found himself in the heart of the local music scene, playing alongside blues legends and seasoned session musicians.
His journey took him across the country, where he absorbed new influences with every performance, shaping a sound that blends soulful storytelling with raw, unfiltered energy. Eventually, he landed in Denver, quickly becoming a fixture in the city’s music scene. Whether on stage or in the studio, Jordan’s mission remains the same: to bridge generations through the universal language of music.
